Elly Crichton Stuart

Intergenerational Work

Following the sudden death of her husband Elly took a sabbatical and moved to the north of Scotland to live as part of the Findhorn Community. During that time she learnt to live from a more authentic place. Her work as a storyteller transformed through teachers such as Richard Olivier and Joanna Macy. She was invited to run workshops at Findhorn and now works extensively with adults as well as children.

Invited to sit in an Elders Breakfast during a workshop called Soultracker, Elly has been exploring the Elder for several years. Inspired by her grandmother, a courageous Irish woman whose stories still resonate, and by teachers such as Meredith Little and Thich Nhat Hanh, she has worked as an Elder on Nature Culture regeneration workshops on Dartmoor. She co-facilitated Elder's breakfasts at the Art of Mentoring camp in 2017 and 2019 where 250 people from around the world came together to create a healthy village.
